Rimini, 21st February 2024 . DPE, the event dedicated to the electrical generation, transmission, distribution, safety and automation ecosystem, organised by Italian Exhibition Group in collaboration with Associazione Generazione Distribuita - Engines, Components, Generators, a confederate of ANIMA Confindustria - and ANIE Federazione, is back at Rimini Expo Centre for the second year running.

The event will take place from Wednesday 28th February to Friday 1st March in Hall A1 in conjunction with KEY - The Energy Transition Expo in order to highlight, also thanks to the new layout, the close link between electrical energy generation, transformation, distribution and transport and renewable sources. The contemporaneity between the two complementary events is particularly strategic in completing the exhibition and in extending the range of technologies, services and integrated solutions for energy transition already on show at KEY to the electrical hardware sector that will present the Italian and European offer of systems and components for electricity generation and distribution.

After its ´0 edition´ in 2019 and the success achieved in March 2023, DPE has expanded its vision to involve, in line with the new ´International Electricity Expo´ payoff, every player in the electricity industry. The event will be a comprehensive showcase of typical power generation applications exhibiting the wide range of cutting-edge products, solutions and technologies that are shaping the energy future in Europe and the Mediterranean basin. The latest innovations and products available on the market will be presented to ensure the stability and efficiency of the electricity grid and make it increasingly smart and digital: small, new generation power plants, generators, industrial engines, light towers, static and dynamic UPS as well as electrical and machinery components such as transformers, cables, electromechanical disconnection and interruption components, electronic protection and remote control components, alternators, storage systems, switchboards and internal combustion engines.

DPE addresses planners, plant designers, electrical equipment distributors, utilities, consulting and engineering companies, O&M, EPC, contractors, ESCO, maintenance and rental companies, not only offering a unique opportunity to be informed, discover new solutions, promote innovation and exchange ideas and knowledge, but also to reflect on the role that distributed generation plays in energy transition, meet all the players in the supply chain - from sustainable energy production to transport and distribution - and exchange views with leading industry experts on key topics related to the future of energy, such as renewable energy integration, grid management and energy efficiency.

Thursday 29th February and Friday 1st March will see the events entitled The strategic role of infrastructures in the energy transition, organised by ANIE Federazione and Generazione Distribuita - ANIMA Confindustria, and Energy saving: regulatory references and energy efficiency measures, organised by Antonello Greco, industrial expert and President of CT 64 CEI.
DPE also aims to inspire and motivate the next generation of energy professionals by offering students and young engineers the chance to enhance their skills and discover the latest trends and technologies.
