Digital Green Weeks
Digital Green Weeks represent five steps on a virtuous path conceived by KEY ENERGY to guide the green economy community through the new energy transition scenarios.
Ahead of the 2021 edition of this important showcase dedicated to technological solutions and processes to promote a carbon-neutral economy – to be held in its physical form from 26 to 29 October at the Rimini Expo Centre – there are five unmissable opportunities for networking, B2B meetings and virtual conventions waiting for you.
The programme devised by the Scientific Committee led by Professor Gianni Silvestrini proposes a packed agenda divided into targeted macro themes, under the banner of “Driving the energy transition”. The first appointment is scheduled to take place from 23 to 25 March with the “Green Revolution & Energy Transition Week”.
WEEK #1 - GREEN REVOLUTION & ENERGY TRANSITION
It starts with the first appointment from 23 to 25 March.
The first week will open with the presentation of the third report on the circular economy in Italy promoted as part of the Circular Economy Network. We will then talk about sustainable agriculture and green hydrogen and natural gas with the main associations.
WEEK #2 - SUSTAINABLE CITY & LOW CARBON ECONOMY
Second appointment, from 27 to 29 April.
This will be an opportunity to talk about green packaging, green innovation, sanitisation, green financing tools, urban regeneration. And, from an energy standpoint, smart cities: circular cities, local public transport and urban green infrastructure, safety, lighting, digitisation, monitoring, 5G, utilities.
WEEK #3 - BLUE ECONOMY E-MOBILITY
Third appointment, from 18 to 20 May.
On the menu are the topics of eco-design, plastic-textile value chains, WEEE, bioenergy, green ports, marine litter, hydrogeological instability and reforestation, green transport and logistics. For e-mobility, we will talk about recharging infrastructure, company fleets and cars, commercial vehicles and the related practical and physical advantages, as well as long-term rentals and vehicle-to-grid.
WEEK #4 - CLIMATE CHANGE & ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Fourth appointment, from 8 to 10 June.
For renewable energies: Global Wind Day, energy communities and photovoltaic energy. A preview of the study by the Energy Strategy Group will anticipate reflections on the repercussions of the new national plan in terms of growth and job development.
WEEK #5 - NEXT GENERATION EU ROAD TO KEY ENERGY 2021
Fifth and final appointment, from 21 to 23 September.
The topics of discussion will include topical issues such as the Pre-Cop26 dedicated to young people, with the Green Symposium in Naples on 28-30 September and the preview of the next physical edition of Ecomondo and Key Energy, at the Rimini Expo Centre from 26 to 29 October. At Key Energy, we will talk about storage: technological innovations and new solutions, and other energy storage systems with a focus on the world of finance linked to the energy transition.
According to many analysts, the returns of funds and financial instruments linked to the energy transition could attract many investors and have explosive growth in the coming years, probably even much higher than the already excellent performance of the so-called “green investments” of recent years.
