The issue of authorization simplifications of intermittent RES and STORAGE plants has taken on a central role in recent years for the achievement of the decarbonisation objectives by 2030. The concept of sustainability is taking on an increasingly broader meaning: environmental, landscape, ecosystem, energy sustainability. How to combine all these needs in the submission and evaluation phase of the authorization applications? The landscape, the environment, the ecosystem are all subject to constant changes. Just as the sea shapes the coasts, the wind the rock, the streams the ground and the subsoil, the earthquakes the orography of the land, etc., also the human actions involve changes, which are, however, functional to the well-being of those who inhabit the territories. Starting from the state of the art on permitting, the conference aims to provide some considerations on how the approach, by all the players involved in the identification of convergent solutions that comply with the different needs, is changing in view of the simplifications recently released from the laws.
