Expectations of strong growth induced by European climate-energy targets and growing profitability despite expensive materials are increasingly attracting investments in renewables and smart energy. Institutional investors, funds and banks, are increasingly focused on the sector, driven by both ESG criteria and risk-return profiles that are still competitive in the current macroeconomic environment.
Securities markets, on the other hand, are appreciating core renewables stocks, with the IREX Index tracking small-mid caps in the sector listed on the Italian stock exchange, which has largely beaten other equity indices.
Against this backdrop, the workshop aims to provide an overview of the vision and role of financial investors in renewables and smart energy infrastructure, storage first and foremost. Drivers of value creation, business models, and future trends are some of the main topics at the center of the debate among the leading players in finance who will speak at the event.
